Sidney Country Club's Fringe offers a beautiful banquet room that has many windows with gorgeous viewing of the golf course. The Fringe is host to many types of events such as Weddings, Rehearsal Dinners, Reunions, Holiday Parties, Business Meetings and Receptions, Anniversaries, Birthday Parties and Retirement Parties.  The room can accomodate up to 275 and can be seperated into smaller areas for smaller groups.

Eating at the Sidney Country Club is becoming a bigger treat than ever. A new chef,
different promotions and now a new name have happened at the facility.

Jay Frank, club manager, hopes the changes are appealing for the entire community.

"We want to get across that it's available for everybody and it's not a private
facility," Frank said. "We're open for lunch and will be open for dinners starting in mid September in a comfortable setting with one of the best views in town."

Tim Barney is the new chef at the Fringe restaurant located at the Sidney Country Club.

Tim Barney, originally from Ohio, is the facility's new chef and has some innovative
ideas. His previous experience includes cooking in restaurants in midtown Manhattan
and Cleveland. He started his own restaurant, KC's Steak and Ribs, in Ohio, which is
still in operation.

His experience will bring more unique offerings to the menu as well as the standard
meals such as hamburgers and prime rib. The new offerings include grilled tilapia
pita, Grecian chicken, southwest chicken, omelets, Cajun Delmonico and pecan
tilapia.  Menu's for the Fringe are changing monthly and requests can be made by patrons.

As well as offering dinners throughout the week, plans are to have events organized
around televised football games on Saturdays, Sundays and Monday nights where food
such as brats and soup will be offered.

Thank you for considering the Sidney Country Club and the Fringe.
